All arts endeavours are collaborations.  The most fundamental and direct form of human communication is through integrated movement, sound and image.  Unique creations result from dynamic and active exchange between contemporary artists, and between artists and audiences.

Across Oceans produces international arts platforms in Canada and worldwide, with acclaimed performing, visual and literary artists, and develops interactions created specially for specific environments and communities. Programming includes live performance, 2-D and 3-D art exhibits, film/video screenings, public forums, advanced training and research.

Characteristically approaching delicate themes with an unlikely balance of boldness and sensitivity.

In conventional theatres, galleries, rice fields, city harbours, the events are produced to delight in the collaboration between
artists, individuals and communities through the arts.

Based in Toronto, Canada, Across Oceans projects have involved participants from Canada, many EU countries, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Malaysia, New Zealand, USA, Venezuela, VietNam.

Collaborations in the deepest sense of the word:
the coming together of people with different perspective,
experiences, and training, artists and audience, to find a
common vision and to create relevant expressive vocabularies
that reflect their creative interchanges.
